In collaboration with Thirty030, the city ambassadors from Utrecht, I painted this electric box at the Groenmarktstraat in Utrecht.

The box is located at the intersection of Groenmarktstraat and Veilinghavenkade. As the name suggests, Veilinghavenkade is situated by the former harbor of the Utrecht vegetable auction on the Merwede Canal. Therefore, nature and colorful fruit had to feature prominently in my design— two of my favorite things! The painting depicts two powerful Babes dancing through the greenery. On one side, there are juicy oranges, and sweet raspberries are also included. My box serves as a colorful and sweet reminder of this historic location, combined with the contemporary message I wish to convey as an artist.
